No stranger to the music game, Phae 510 is a female producer on the rise. She has a wide range of musical influences and the ability to write songs with commercial appeal. She is on a mission to become well known and respected as a producer and Record Label Owner.
Phae 510 has been involved in music since the age of 2. She started out singing, and eventually started writing music as a child. She went on to be a part of several singing groups in California, and eventually started her own R&B/funk/rock band. As the lead singer, she would write all of her lyrics and melodies. In addition to that, she would write different parts for the guitar and bass players in her band. Her band (Interstellar Soul Movement) performed at various venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.
She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently resides in the famous ATL. After moving to Atlanta, GA in 2006, she decided to take her musical talents to another level, by producing tracks/songs for other artists. She is more than a beat maker; she writes, produces and arranges vocals for singers as well. She coaches them in the vocal booth, and makes sure the finished product is well put together. This is very important in this day and age, since the producing game has become very competitive. Phae 510 hones in on her ability to produce “entire songs” and not just tracks. She is known for producing traditional R&B songs injected with current trends to appeal to today’s consumer and pop songs with an urban vibe to it. When you listen to her music, you can’t help but notice carefully crafted drums and hefty bass lines. She believes that making good music with longevity is the number one priority. Songs that fans will want to listen to today, and 20 years from now. She mixes the old school with the new school to achieve this.
Phae 510 is currently working with an up and coming R&B/Pop singer, Nyeri, who is also out of Atlanta. She is in contact with several other singers/groups, bringing them into her studio to test out their skills and how they vibe together. She is excited about the opportunities that the New Year will bring. She runs a production company/record label called Ground Up Productions, along with her business partner Rasheed Hammonds. Ground Up Productions is currently under negotiations for a distribution deal with a major distributor. She is working hard, not just to be a top notch female producer, but a top notch producer, period.
