Jay-Z promises to stop swearing in his songs
Beyoncé and husband Jay-Z welcomed their first baby girl into the world when she was born on January 7th 2012. They have both expressed their feelings of happiness and contentment at this event, and Jay-Z has made the announcement that he will keep his lyrics clean from swear words from now on. The 42 year old American rapper and record producer who has sold around 50 million albums worldwide has said that he will never again use such words in any of his songs.
He made this announcement in a poem that he wrote for his baby girl, who they have named Blue Ivy Carter. The poem talks about how he didn’t think twice about using certain words in the past and had never really thought about stopping using it before. Fans of the rapper would indeed not be surprised if they were listening to one of his songs while at a party or at home playing Party poker and they heard these words thrown into the midst of it. However, it looks as though that is all about to change as he wants to preserve the innocence of his new baby daughter.
It looks like Jay-Z is going to be a very protective and caring father, and he is trying to change his ways in order to shelter her from many things in the world. A few days after she was born, her father released a song that was entitled “Glory” and was dedicated to her. The track features the sound of Blue Ivy crying at the end, which interestingly makes her the youngest person to ever feature in the Billboard charts. Will she be making any more appearances in her father’s music, or her mother’s for that matter? We will have to wait and see.
