You know Pimp C talked about Yahshua a few of his tracks. Then right after he said it we state “I just talk this way to make you think I’m” and goes on to talk about all the knowledge hidden in books. You are correct in your “surface” reading of Jay-Z’s lyric, but having knowldege of his spiritual background, there is a deeper meaning. Jay-Z has said many things that have dual meanings, this being one of them. It is not meant that the masses will catch his esoteric language, so I understand when you say I went “way beyond” what he was trying to convey. That was his intent for the masses to believe. A great Christian teacher once wrote, “All things are not to be spoken to all men.”

you should really meditate on the verse jayz spit basically what jayz was talking about was when young women come to ny the rotten apple they get caught up being groupies trying to be in the in crowd and being in the limelight and they prostitute them selves see good girls turn into whores when he said jesus cant save you hes basically telling a lot of groupies and prostitues dont go in to the church then be back out on the corner doing the same thing its like this if you have a bad habit and you really want it to stop you stray away from it long enough till the point of no return.that was his only intention you went way beyond what was really being said in the verse. peace one another reason why i say this because my sisters cousin when she moved to new york she turn out to be the biggest groupie alwayz doing whatever it took to be in the limelight
