Coming from a family with a musical background, J-Skaytz, born and raised in Yonkers NY, influenced by his father who is no stranger to the entertainment world, J-Skaytz is taking the industry by storm. Being the child of Shawn Waters, a member of the classic 80’s group Force MD’s, J-Skaytz artistic visions are reflected in his songs. He has the ability to present you with extraordinary songs that will give you originality, quality and continues entertainment. As a teenager, it is often easy to be influenced by the life of the streets which lead to J-Skaytz having a brief encounter with the law, but loving music more than what street life had to offer, he quickly regained focus on what was really important. His love for music.

At the age 14, focused and ready to move on, he started to record at his fathers studio and independent Record Label ‘Hot 2 Def Entertainment’. With production by Shawn Waters, J-Skaytz by then only being of the age 16, he released his first album ‘Ready To Roll’ in 2004. The album was available at local Record stores, but funding to distribute worldwide was not available at the time. J-Skaytz music continues to heat up the local clubs and local radio stations and he has released several Mixtapes since. Under the management of Rico the movement ‘Hooligang’ was created and having a strong team J-Skaytz is ready to take the title back home. The story has just began.
