Hoodgrown Launches \”Freestyle Friday\” Competition

Hoodgrown Online is about to launch it\’s own \”Freestyle Friday Online Competition\” in which artists will compete with their best 16 bars and the winner of each week will be decided by the Hoodgrown Online audience.

Rules:

1. Your verse must not be more than 16 bars
2. Your verse must be recorded on an popular industry track (no original joints, sorry)
3. All recordings must be CLEAR and of good quality.
4. Upload your track to www.twtmuzik.com
5. Send an email to freestyles.hoodgrown@gmail.com – containing: your rap name and link to track on www.twtmuzik.com
6. Each week we\’ll choose 3 people to compete against one another letting our visitors vote as to who has the best Freestyle.
7. On Weds 7pm EST. The winner will be announced and will continue on to next week against two new opponents. The champion that week can choose to submit a new freestyle or continue using the current one.
8. Anyone who wins 4 weeks in a row will be added to the Hoodgrown Online hall of fame.
9. In December the \”Hall Of Famers\” will compete for that whole month and a winner will be announced on Christmas. The winner will receive prizes and bragging rights as the \”Best of 2010\”.

We\’re hoping to pop the first on off on January 19th. Tracks must be received by January 24th to be eligible.
