What religion do you adhere to? It’s obviously not Christianity. I don’t have the time to get it in with these scriptures and history you throwing out. And before you get on the whole I’m a homophobe tip, I’ve had a best friend who was gay. As a Christian, didn’t condone his lifestyle, told him about it, and lived a Christian lifestyle before him. And we kicked it like brothers. I will say this though. That whole God’s law thing? First off, we all break them on the daily and are in need of repentance. Second, Christ abolished the law with his perfect obedience to it. The OT law you speak of is meant to show us our flaws and show us our need for a Savior, namely Jesus Christ. Lastly, homosexuality being sin before God is made clear numerous times in the NT, with the point being made clear apart from Sodom and Gommorah.

Let me put you on the right track. “Raca” is an Aramaic word.
What does it mean when Jesus says, “whosoever shall say to his brother, ‘Raca’ shall be in danger of the council?” What does “RACA” mean? This is the only time in the entire Bible that this word is used! “RACA?” Hmmmm? Some scholars have suggested that “raca” was the equivalent of calling a man a FAGGOT! What? “Raca,” in its popular definition is defined as “worthless,” “empty-headed,” “vain,” “good-for-nothing,” “to spit.” But check it! The word “Raca” is derived from the Hebrew word “Rakh,” meaning “soft,” “weak,” and “effeminate” and is used today as a euphemism for GAY MEN. In Deuteronomy 22:5 It states, “A woman should not wear that which pertaineth to a man.” The 21st century Christian mind would argue that this is a prohibition against women wearing pants or any other object worn by men. Let’s pray….. Father we come to you…. LOL! Just playing. First off fam sorry for the late response. I want address your post to me. Unlike most Christians, (who aren’t really Christian anyway. Check the fruit homey!) I didn’t stop reading. I think discussion like these are needed in Christianity to get people to open their hearts minds, and Bibles.
1. Jesus wasn’t a Christian. How could he be? He was the Christ. His followers are called Christian. Acts 11:26
2. Most denominations agree on the core essentials of the faith. It is secondary things, those things not necessary for salvation or eternal life on where most denominations come in. That didn’t start in our day. You had Pharisees and Saducees back in Jesus’ day. Now there are some preachers and denominations who don’t agree with those core essentials, and that’s where problems arise. What you know affects how you live.
3. Christianity’s failures throughout history done in the name of Christ.. You’re right. And on behalf of their foolishness, I apologize. But at the end of the day, Man’s history is filled with terrible deeds. And just like it’s wrong for me to hold hatred in my heart towards white people of today for slavery, it’s wrong to write off a people or religion because of it’s history. It’s called sin. And while Christians shouldn’t be a slave to it, (Romans 6:15-23), we will struggle with it until Christ returns. Romans 7:15-20.
4.OT Law being abolished. Yes it is true that Christ fulfilled the law. But how can you quote Paul (2Timothy 2:15 “study to show thyself approved.) and then call him an “ex-Roman Uncle Tom? And then use Romans 1 (another book Paul wrote) as arguement again that homosexuality is okay and we’re misinterpreting what he said? Whatever. I digress. Since you quoted him, allow me to. Ephesians 2:14-15 “for He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity that is the law of commandments contained in ordinances so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace…. Now Khalil, we can’t take parts of scripture and use it for our own use, and then deny the portion we refuse to believe, or can’t make fit into our beliefs. In my preivous post, I said that Christ abolished the law with his perfect obedience and sacrifice for Christians.
5. Mathew 5:17 Jesus says “Do not think I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. You then jump to Matthew 24 asking has all been fulfilled. Answer? No. But here’s the problem. Matthew 5:17-19 and Matthew 24 have nothing to do with each other. The only thing that has been fulfilled in Matthew 24 is verses 1-2. The temple was destroyed in A.D. 70. Everything else is yet to happen. Verse 17 of Matt 5 speaks on Christ fulfilling all the requirements of the law and all the prophecy of the OT prophets concerning the Messiah. Verse 18 speaks on the absolute authority of OT scripture. Basically the Holy scriptures, old and new, are truth, and do not lie. Verse 19 can be summarized in this statement. “Practice what you preach.” So the question becomes to you Khalil, you are “preaching” to me and others the word of God, but do you practice it?
6. The Sabbath was invented to be a day of rest for the Jews, along with being a a day of worship. Christ is not concerned with what day you go to a synagogue, church or temple. He’s concerned with people who worship the Father in spirit and truth. (John 4:23)
At the end of the day Khalil, even though you aren’t a professed Christian, you are a Pharisee. You hold to the letter of the law, not the spirit of it. Christ fulfilled the law, and abolished, not destroyed, it with his sacrifice. I didn’t go through all of this so we can discuss all day. We won’t agree. I understand that and am fine with that. Just to let you know, I have gay friends I attend church with and in my family. And I love them just the same. I draw the line in the sand with all sinners, and ask the to cross it in repentance. Lastly, if homosexuality is okay, (this is the topic remember) what are we to do with the sin of fornication?

That being said, I was just wondering have you ever spent any time in prison? The reason I ask is that it seems that you kick what a lot of people call, “penitentiary knowledge.”
That’s not meant to be some type of insult either. You just remind me of some of my dear friends who went down a certain path, got caught up, and absorbed a lot of knowledge while they were locked up. And before they went in, they weren’t really all that concerned with picking up a book. So when they get back out, you get like a mixture of all that knowledge that was acquired in a relatively short amount of time with their street sense.
Which is in contrast to somebody that just got their knowledge at a regular pace over the course of their life.

Hey Mpho, I think you misread me totally. I have kids. And I don’t give a damn if they turn out to be gay or not. There are bigger problems in this world than what my kids turn out to be in their sexual choice. First have to make sure they don’t get raped – especially in SA where we have the highest rape rate in the world. In the Bible, God repeatedly warns us against any mixing of races … and especially against intermarriage and mongrelization. Some of this has been overlooked because of imperfect translations out of the Hebrew and Greek languages in which the Bible was written. Let us examine some of these passages, carefully noting the exact meaning of the words used in the original tongues.
From the very beginning, the commandment not to permit mongrelization is strongly emphasized. For example: EXODUS 33:16 “So shall we he separated, and all of Thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.” LEVITICUS 20:24 “I am the Lord thy God, which have separated you from other people.”
JOSHUA 23:12-13 “..if ye do in any wise go back and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them and they unto you: know for a certainty that they shall he snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish off from this good land which the Lord your God has given you. ”
DEUTERONOMY 7:3 “NEITHER SHALT THOU MAKE MARRIAGES WITH THEM: thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.”
Many warnings are given in the Bible not to mate with “the stranger.” But the Hebrew words translated “stranger” in these verses are “ZUWR”, “NEKAR”, and “NOKRI…and each one means a person of DIFFERENT RACE FROM OURS.
(There are other Hebrew words “ger” and “toshab”… meaning persons who are aliens only in a political sense, but of our race.) The warning against race mixing is always against those “strangers” who are, ZUWR, NEKAR or NOKRI. For example: PROVERBS 23:27 “For a whore is a deep ditch; and a strange ZUWRI woman is a narrow pit.”
The reason for the warning is clear: MONGRELIZATION IS THE WORSE FORM OF “GENOCIDE”. If you kill 99% of a race; but leave the other l% pure-blooded, they will in time restore the race; but when you mongrelize them, you have destroyed that race eternally. Once mixed with the Black or Yellow Races, the White Race would be totally and forever destroyed. Hence, God has forbidden it.

But the Hebrew word mistranslated “bastard” is the word “MAMZER”: It means a MIXTURE, A HALF-BREED OR MONGREL. It has nothing to do with whether a child’s parents were married, but it refers to THE FORBIDDEN INTERMIXTURE OF RACES. THAT IS WHY THE PENALTY EXTENDS FOR TEN GENERATIONS: and it shows how seriously God treats this sin. It is true that the mulatto child is not to blame for his parents sins: BUT HE IS STILL A MULATTO. The first generation would be half-breed; the second would have at least a quarter of the dark blood; the third at least 1/8; the fourth, 1/16; and so on. IN THE TENTH GENERATION, THE NEGRO BLOOD MAY BE AS SMALL AS ONE PART IN 1,024 …. YET GOD HIMSELF SAYS THAT THIS IS TOO MUCH TO BE ALLOWED TO “ENTER INTO THE CONGREGATION OF THE LORD.”
