Straight from the DMV area, this twenty something star athlete turned rapper Demetrius “El Prezidino” Doss is not your average hip-hop artist. You won’t find any mentions of kilos of coke, senseless violence or overt misogyny in his music. But rather detailed stories, which display his next level lyricism and fresh ideas.

El Prezidino is currently promoting his lead single \”Athletes & Frat Boys\” featuring singer Daade of his album The Illness scheduled for release summer 2009. The song is based on a girl who only seeks out jocks and fraternity members and the adventures she finds herself in is a far cry from the music that’s dominating the airwaves. “The concept of the song is fresh, real, and definitely original. So many people can identify with this song, whether it’s from the aspect of the male or the female.”

With stamp approvals from Urb.com and legendary hip-hop figures MC Search and DJ Frankie Cutlass, and not to mention his edgy, thought provoking content and consistent stage presence across the DMV area, El Prezidino is definitely a star on the rise.
