DAME GREASE COLLABORATES WITH MUSICONPLAY.NET FOR AN EXCLUSIVE BEAT CONTEST

Multi-platinum producer Dame Grease and MusicOnPlay.Net have teamed up to offer an exclusive opportunity for upcoming artists to be featured on a track produced by the legendary hitmaker. Grease, who has created hits for artists such as DMX, Jay-Z, Nas, T.I., and Mary J. Blige, will also be placing the winning artist on a mixtape to be released in January that will feature Max B, Styles P, and Sheek Louch just to name a few.

Grease will be releasing an exclusive instrumental on which contestants will be able to craft a song that will be submitted to the Vacant Lot Records staff for judging. In order to enter, contestants must purchase the instrumental for $10.00 and submit their final track between December 12, 2008 and January 12, 2009. The winner will be chosen by Grease and the Vacant Lot staff, with the announcement being made January 19, 2009 on MusicOnPlay.net. When to Enter: . The Contest begins at 12:00 pm. Eastern Standard Time (\”EST\”) on December 12 , 2008, and ends at 11:59 am. EST on January 12, 2009 (the \”Contest Period\”). The Contest shall consist of a continuous Submission and voting period. Winner will be announced January 19. on MusicOnPlay.com

How To Enter: Each contestant must comply with the following Contest entry rules:

The Dame Grease Beat may only be used for this Contest and not for any other commercial or promotional purpose; (ii) lyrics must be owned exclusively by contestant; (iii) lyrics must not have been previously published, released or distributed commercially

Each contestant must visit and purchase the beat for the sale price of $10.00 through paypal. Once the beat is purchsed you will recieve the beat. -Your contest beat must be submitted in MP3 format, not exceeding 5MB in size
-Only 1 song per contest is allowed. Only submit your contest song once

-You cannot submit the song you write on this \”beat\” to anyone else other than \”Dame Grease / Vacant Lot Records/Lotmusik\”

-With respect to each Submission Dame Grease /Vacant Lot Records/Lotmusik shall retain ownership of the song submitted for the contest.
