The Caging of an Urban Legend

bcWell it happened… Your boy and mine, Mr. Clifford Harris, was sentenced to 366 days in the big house. And people are really upset and crying and mad and ready to send petitions to Barack Obama like he has time to even consider giving T.I. a pardon. On a side note: Black People… stop thinkin’ just because your president is black that you get a free pass on anything. Barack doesn’t have time to come to your trial to see if the cop really was racist or if you were just being an asshole. Just take responsibility for your actions and stop lookin’ for a hook up… Now, back to the subject at hand…

Lil Wayne vs. Willie Lynch??

bcOk… If you haven’t heard by now, Hip Hop has racism on the ropes and any moment now we will hear “FINISH HIM!!” and everything will be ok. At least, that’s what Jay-Z said. So it has to be true right? I’m just playin’, but on the real. Jay-Z basically said that Hip Hop is the single most effect tool in history to ever battle the beast of bigotry. Don’t get ya Coogi in a bunch. Just to be fair, here’s the full quote so you don’t think I’m taking one line and making it bigger than it is.
