We’re accepting submissions for Hoodgrown’s 1st Official Mixtape hosted by Lord Jamar of Brand Nubian.
There are 5 slots available and we’re picking the best of the best for this mixtape. This mixtape will be distributed through our website and will be included in our magazine which will automatically put your in front of 10,000 people guaranteed.
the details are as follows:
• All slots are free!
• We’re looking for artists that can spit
• Beats for this project tracks should be East Coast styled in nature (think Alchemist, Kanye, Just Blaze, 9th, etc).

We don’t just have people host tapes, we tailor the tracks to a specific theme and sound. If you’re not sure who Lord Jamar is “GOOGLE HIM” (hell you probably shouldn’t even be submitting a song if you don’t know who he is),
• Content wise – bring your skill. We’re not interested in fake tales of balling and drug dealing.
• Only one track per artists will be chosen.
• Quality is A MUST!
